Hi, I've been looking for some time for the best components to build a strong PC gaming in this budget. I chose gtx 1060 6gb as video card and for cpu i5-8400 or ryzen 5 1600.
I know ryzen 5 1600 is better for multitasking and streaming.
i5-8400 is better in single core speed so it's better in gaming than 1600.
I decided to go with i5-8400 since my objective is gaming performance. It have a poor stock cooler so i want to buy a h212 evo for more stability. I think 8400 reach 3.8GHz on all cores easier with less power than 1600, since 1600 need overclock to reach 3.8GHz. So 8400 it's a little safer than 1600.
I want you to tell me if I'm wrong with this decision and if the components i chose to suit i5-8400 are the best.
This is my build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kg6YNQ

For 60fps gaming, both the 8400 and 2600X is more than capable.

The advantage with the rx580 is you can go with a monitor like this and still get stable 75fps.
