4gb ddr4 ram, looking to upgrade semi-gaming notebook

Hey guys,

I recently bought myself an Acer Aspire 5 A515-51G notebook.

Specs:
I3 8130U
Nvidia GF MX150 2gb
4GB DDR4 2400mhz memory
1000GB HDD 5400RPM

Now, if im right my memory is soldered, and I still have an expansion slot.

I have trouble with multi tasking (Like I cant do anything when I install something) my ram usage is often at 70% + , so I think I might have to upgrade the memory.

My question is, should I buy 1x8 Gb of ram (same speed, voltage, cas)
OR
1x4 gb ddr4 ram (Same specs) + ssd ?

Its really frustrating that I cant do more than one thing on my laptop, I often game on it too, I have problems with that too.
example: Battlefield 1 runs smoothly on mid config but my ram bottlenecks, while my cpu usage is on 30 % with turbo-boost.

So which upgrade would be the best bet on me if I want to multitask while gaming?

Thank you for the answers beforehand!
