Hi Guys, need a bit of assistance regarding a Rig that my friend have asked me to do for him:
CPU: Ryzen 1500x
Cooler: Coolermaster M240L
RAM: KIngston HyperX Fury (8GB) x2 Sticks
GPU: Asus RX 570 Strix
Motherboard: ASUS B350-PLUS
Power Supply: SilverStone Strider Gold 550W ST55F-G
Case: Phanteks P300
HD: Seagate FireCuda
I was going through the build and assembled it yesterday, but before I try to cable manage it, I plug everything in first to check if it will turn on. And it wasn't turning on, no signs of life no fans, no sound, nothing.
See below what I did:
1. Made sure CPU-8PIN Socket power supply is plugged in, 24 pin cable plugged in.
2. Tested power supply with paper clip.
3. Manually grounded the power panel to switch on the rig.
4. Reseated CMOS Battery
5. Tried turning it on with 1 RAM Stick.
Well, I am currently out of options, I told my friend that the board might be DOA, so we need to send it back to the retailer.
Do you guys have any suggestions?
