OS SSD Choice

SSD 1: Samsung 850 Evo [500 GB]
SSD 2: Kingston A400 [120 GB]
HDD 1: Western Digital Black Performance 7200 RPM [6 TB]
HDD 2: ST500DM002-1BD142 [500 GB]

Current Configuration:
SATA 0: SSD 1 (OS)
SATA 1: SSD 2 (Programs)
SATA 2: HDD 1 (Games)
SATA 3: HDD 2 (Pictures, Videos, Etc.)

My Question:
Would it be better to switch the Samsung and the Kingston? The Operating System would be on the smaller SSD. Would the slower Read/Write Speeds affect the Operating System performance in a negative way? Or would it have little effect?

Note: Reinstalling Windows is not an issue at all, and has no impact on the final decision.

I wouldn't put windows 10 on a 120GB drive. Even 256GB is a bit small. You'll find that a lot of installs will put stuff on the C: without giving you any options. 120GB will fill up pretty quick.

No putting windows on the smaller slower driveis a bad idea. Yes the slower read and write will affect performance (in my opinion anyways). It is still good to have a extra 120gb SSD. You could put your swap file onto the smaller drive. It can also be used for using it for another steam library for games if you play games, or shadowplay can save onto that drive (which it will do all the time if you set it up like mine to record all the time the last 5 minutes). So an extra SSD will have uses. But no, making an OS drive is a waste and it would be over slower.
