Hi, first time here. So 2 days ago the pc was working but i needed to move the motherboard to another case. I took the dust off it and began to insert the cables and all. I was work on the floor on a carpet. I connected the psu to the cpu and motherboard and tried every possible combination of pins for the front panel connectors, since the motherboard was front a pre-built HP tower it didn't have colours or clear indications, however, I tried powering it up and it doesn't react (the motherboard doesn't have and LED to indicate power flow). First i though the psu was not working but i tested it on another motherboard and the LED on that appeared so there was energy flowing... What could possibly be the reason to break all of a sudden, 2 days ago was good... Any ideas?

Considering you were on carpet, static is a possible concern.

The more likely scenario though, is you haven't found the correct pins to complete the circuit for power "on".

Rather than attaching the connectors for now, use a screwdriver - test all possible pins (if you can retrace your steps to the HP case front connectors, even better!). Shorting with a screwdriver will complete the circuit too, and will make it easier to identify the pins you're looking for.
