Another Summer another upgrade!! (and I'm single so like... no spending money on any girls but my mama)
I'm SUPER excited for this overhaul upgrade, initially I just wanted to upgrade my cpu but then, ya know.... now the only thing I'm keeping now is my case and RAM and some of the older storage.
Anyway...
This is my build so far: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Enander/saved/#view=9M2tJx
All my questions are briefly mentioned in the description:
- I know that my psu isn't great. I want to be able to future proof my pc by having potential to run SLI in the future, if I so desire. Projected wattage so far is 484 and I imagine that's at full load. After some research, it seems like any psu gold and above rated is good enough for my build, but I am unsure about how much wattage I'll need to future proof it for potential SLI. I also plan on overclocking to 4.8 ghz I imagine, so maybe that's a factor that isn't taken into consideration on pcpartpicker.
- I am just curious as to where my pc might bottleneck / what your opinions are on what the weakest parts of the system might be.
-Now that I am revamping my system, I have a ton of good pc parts, how should I go about with selling them?
-I only have 16 gb of ram but its pretty high quality ram, right? Do I need more? If I get another 16gb, does it have to be the same type?
Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to help!
