Im a mad man so i want to overclock this laptop, since the gpu and cpu are to weak for 2018. No, i dont have and wont have money for a new laptop/pc and yes, i know that heat kills a lot of laptops and that its not that helpful, but i still want to overclock it.
Please give me all ideas to overclock the laptop, hard or easy.

It's going to be far from "not that helpful" in that laptop, I'm afraid.

Laptops' cooling solutions are usually barely sufficient for stock operation, overclocking will push you into thermal throttling territory, if not full thermal shutdown.

On top of that, the power solution is similarly only sufficient for stock operations +a few%. Any OCing that requires boosting the power draw/voltage, could push you beyond the scope of it's capabilities.

A c2d T5900 + GS9300M, even overclocked, aren't going to be capable of much by modern standards.
Best to focus on titles it *could* handle at launch.

MSI Afterburner might let you OC the GPU, although I wouldn't be surprised at all if OCing &/or power limit is locked at a GPU BIOS level.
Then, you could consider flashing somewhat custom BIOS' to the GPU..... but if you can't afford a new laptop/PC anytime soon, that's not likely worth the risk.

Similarly, there may be custom BIOS' in existence to allow some OCing of the CPU (likely BCLK only).... but they'd be custom, unverified, and run the risk of bricking your laptop.

There are utilities out there that allow you to OC mobile CPUs. I don't see them serving any purpose whatsoever, so won't be linking any here..... but Google would be your friend there.

I'd highly suggest you DO NOT go this route but, if you do, good luck!

i dont really know, i probably wont try to find any new ways to oc, because i already looked for custom bios and programs i could overclock with. It seems that its all to waste. Im still open to suggestions!

Just to play devil's advocate...

If you don't have the money for a new laptop, and won't have for some time..... what do you intend to do if you damage/fry something in the process?

I could understand the appear (just for giggles, essentially) if this was an old laptop you didn't have any need for etc.
But if this is your daily driver, with no upgrade in sight........ preserve it.

The thing is, this laptop is not my daily driver, not anymore since problems with sound have risen up. I cant hear sound normally without hearing minor scratching sounds. Other than that the performance of this laptop is bad, worse than bad. I cant watch 720p videos without lag and games that were at launch dont even run at 30fps in 720p on low setting (cod5, 6 and bioshock). Other than those problems, my little brother ripped all the keys out and broke the keyboard completely, including those hooks to attach the keyboard, so thats also a problem

A clean install of the OS and limiting programs that don't need to be run in the background may help improve performance a bit, also make sure your drivers are up to date.

I also don't think it would be a good idea to overclock it, just not worth it for a few more FPS.
