Hello
i just ralized that my pentium' temp is around 45 to 58 C (min 42, max 58, value 43) while i'm browsing and it shows a min of 55 to max 69 C at full load (Playing fallout 4). I'm using CPUID HW monitor and MSI AfterBurner in order to read values. The pemtium is resting on a asus b150 pro gaming d3, with 8gb RAM, GTX1050 EVGA, one case fan and stock cooler (a new one is coming ).

Are those idle temperatures normal for the CPU?.

Solution
Do not worry. The idle temperatures are very unimportant and neither are they exaggerated. It is very difficult with an air cooler to lower the ambient temperature +10 or 15 ºC, especially with the stock cooler from Intel. Of course in summer they go up.

Anyway, load temps are good.

When replacing the cooler be very careful, clean the remains of the old thermal paste and put new one. Make sure that the cooler is fixed correctly and, above all, do not forget to connect the fan cpu. Be careful not to accidentally move other connections, especially Ram sticks or graphics cards.

Try to collect the cables from the box so that the air flow is free. If the filters or the case fan are dirty with dust, try to clean them with a vacuum cleaner...
