It does support AM3+ CPUs, with 8 cores and up to 95w TDP. That is the exact description of the fx8300.

Yes, but why?
Unless you are buying (really), cheap, 2nd hand, it isnt really worth it, despite all the benchmarks, in real life the FX chips were worse than the Phenom2's they replaced (except for 4K video playback), and the 8 cores do not overclock very well.
(Got the FX6300 to 5.1GHz, and my P2 1090T still out performed it).
A budget Ryzen set up would wipe the floor with it.
