Have you checked your microphone in "Control Panel > Sound > Recording" to see if that device is enabled?
The headset comes up as an output device there but not as a recording device.
Right click one of your Recording devices and make sure "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices" is check-marked.
Yup,it's check marked
Have you tried plugging it into the back-panel to see if it works there?
When i plug it into the back panel as an audio device,it worka fine but no mic once again. If i plug it in as a mic, i can see it in the recording devices but it's reallllyyy low no matter how high i set the volume level. One of my friends also noticed that when i plug i5 in on the front panel as a mic, he can hear my pcs in-game sounds like shooting, etc but notmy voice.
Do you have the Realtek HD Audio Manager in your taskbar? You probably need to configure your setup in there. Your motherboard has a built in, high end digital amplifier.
