Recently I have been experienceing a problem with my pc, with it being the monitor constantly going black and showing 'no signal' text. This only happens when I launch or play a game on my pc (rb6). Occasionally when my screen does go black my gfx card fans go crazy

I have tried updating my drivers (GeForce), trying different monitor, trying different HDMI cable, re-plugging gfx card.

I recently replaced my gfx card (GTX 1060) to a less capable version (GTX 960) and suddenly my pc works fine so I thought it was a faulty gfx card but when my friend used my GTX 1060 it worked fine on his pc, I have a 600W power supply and my friend has a 500W power supply

Assuming the monitor goes blank as soon as you launch the game, It could be the in-game resolution or refresh rate, it could be too much for your monitor to handle. Try running these game in windowed mode, lower resolution and lower refresh rate one at a time...

I could try that, but it has been fine for about a year now and it only recently started happening

well, the recent series of Windows 10 updates are known for changing default settings in hope to make the OS run better, besides there is no harm in trying a potential solution...
