Well I'm not the biggest person about know about tech and what's so bad about upgrading the PC?

Because what you are suggesting wouldn't be an upgrade. It would give you barely any performance gain for a lot of wasted money.

You sound like you have your mind made up. I don't know why you are asking for suggestions and giving us reasons why you can't use our suggestions.

Do u thing the HP envy with i7 and GTX 1050 would be a good investment for 1.5k CAD

No pre-built computer would be a good investment. IF you are willing to change out a GPU, replace a PSU, and CPU, then you would be able to build a computer yourself. It is super easy. It is like adult Legos. Do not buy a pre-built.

If you are going to spend $1500, build a computer.

Here is a quick list I put together:

I would love to build my PC but only thing is idk how to do it, when I said I was gonna change out parts I meant I was gonna buy it and go to my local computer shop cuz they do it. Worst scenario I might just get the HP envy cuz it has a good cpu and GPU. Also comes with a monitor. Should be able to run games fine
