So my birthday was yesterday and my pc was getting pretty outdated so I went out and bought basically a whole new computer. I replaced the motherboard with a ROG STRIX Z370 - E Gaming along with my ram which was previously 8GB of DDR3 to 16GB of DDR4 as the new motherboard doesn’t support DDR3. I also bought an i7 8700k. So I came home and set everything up, I moved my hard drives over from my old pc (I have 2 150GB SSDs that I put windows on and then a 1TB HDD) I also bought a new 2 TB HDD and added that in I’m not sure if possibly the new hard drive setup would have anything to do with this. So I made sure everything was plugged in and in the right slots on my motherboard and everything, when I plug it in the motherboard lights up as if it’s getting power and then when I hit the power button it turns on for a split second and then dies. I had this problem when I built my first computer (I’m still a noob this was only the second computer I’ve built but I built the first one right so I know everything was in order on this one too) it ended up being a problem with my PCU. I replaced it with an 850w antec one that ran it fine but I feel like 850w would be more than enough for what I have. The complete setup for what I’m trying to run is
i7 8700k
16GB of ram (4,4GB sticks)
GeForce GTX TITAN 6GB GDDR5 384bit
The motherboard is as I said above a ROG STRIX Z370 - E Gaming and I have 4 hard drives 2 being SSDs that I had windows on in a raid format and then 1, 1TB HDD and 1 2TB HDD. The only real option I’ve thought of was to try and take all the ram but 1 stick out but it still did the same thing
