Hi,
I am about to do a couple of upgrades to my current rig and had a few questions regarding overclocking and cooling.
I have a Zalman Z9 Neo case, a MSI Z97 PC Mate motherboard and going to get an i7 4770K CPU to replace my i5 4790, plus buy 3 x Thermaltake Riing 14 RGB fans. The case has room for the following fans: Front 2 x 140 or 2 x 120, Rear 1 x 120, Top 2 x 140 or 2 x 120 fans.
Therefore I was wondering:
1. Will I be able to get a decent overclock with my mobo?
2. Will the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L RGB AIO CPU Cooler be good enough to cool my CPU when I overclock?
3. Should I put the radiator on the top and the 3 x 140mm fans at rear and front?
4. Should I put the front 2 fans as intake or exhaust?
5. Should I put the 1 rear fan as intake or exhaust?
6. Am I right in assuming the radiator fans will be exhaust?
7. Can I attach the thermaltake fans to the RGB hub then attach that to my Phanteks fan controller, which will then attach to the system header fan slot on my mobo?
Thanks
