Hello,
For some reason my brother has been unable to hear my microphone at all when speaking over some VoIP program. I can hear him just fine and in Windows AND in all the programs we have used, I can use the mic test and I hear myself just fine, so my mic is working and properly plugged in.
So far we have attempted the following programs for VoIP:
Teamspeak 3
Uplay
Skype
Steam
Discord
In ALL of them he can see that I am talking but he cannot hear me. I can hear him just fine.
Any ideas as to why this might be happening? I have attempted this with and without Nvidia Share enabled.
UPDATE: We just tried Facebook VoIP and it worked. It did ask me to allow the use of my microphone so I checked with Discord (I was using browser version) and it was also allowed there, so this is most likely not the issue.
