A buddy of mine recently was having issues with his computer and ran a benchmark test on userbenchmark.com
He found a few things wrong with his set up and said fixing them made a world of a difference.
Out of pure curiosity I decided to run a test as well. To preface this I have not and still do not really notice anything being wrong with my computer, everything feels like it is running well. But here are the restuls:
UserBenchmarks: Game 62%, Desk 65%, Work 39%
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 - 72.1%
GPU: AMD R9 390 - 66.4%
SSD: SanDisk SSD Plus 120GB - 77%
HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2012) - 72.5%
RAM: Team Team-Elite-1333 2x4GB - 28.7%
MBD: Asus B85M-G R2.0
So these results put my CPU at the 89th percentile, the GPU in the 49th and the SSD in the 94th while my HD and RAM both fall inthe 12th percentile.
Apparently my CPU is killing it. But the most concerning thing is the RAM. What in the world is happening there? And if it really is that bad how do I not notice?
