second Hard drive doesn't show up in bios

I have been trying to install an old hard drive I had from my previous computer and am trying to get it to work. I hooked up everything correctly but it doesn't show in bios. The hard drive im trying to install is Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB,and I am trying to install it on a pegatron 2acf motherboard, or the hp p7 1254.

Have you tried a different port and power connector.

I assume that you have a working hdd, use the power and data connector from that disk.

If the hdd still does not show then you know you have a dead disk.

Can you try your hdd in an external usb enclosure?

I have a corsair cx600m installed(which has slots for connectors) so I used 1 cord with 4 connectors to connect both the hard drives but I only had 2 sata connectors which 1 (should've mentioned this before sorry) was hooked to the multimedia drive so I put that in the extra hard drive and it made my computer boot way slower than what it usually took, which was originally a couple seconds and now a difference of 5 minutes. So now I tried switching the sata connectors but not the power connectors, and it would not boot. My computer had an error of not recognizing the disk, so it might be dead i guess, unless if that sata connector was bad or I shouldn't be using one cord, which is what I am hoping. Hoping for you to get back, its most likely going to be a response I wot like but i'm hoping.

It does sound like there is a problem with your hdd.

You can power multiple disks off the same power line.
It is unlikely to be a problem with your sata cable as it works with your CD.

How important is this disk, if it does not have any data on it that you need, then bin it and buy a replacement (with sata cable).

If the disk can't be seen in BIOS, then it can't be used.

Unplug your main hdd and your CD rom and only have this old hdd connected.
Can you feel it spinning (touch to hear and feel vibration), if not then there is a power issue.

If it is powered and it does not show in BIOS, then there is some other problem.

HDD can't be repaired (outside of a specialised lab)
