CPU overclocking with offset mode

How do I use offset mode for my
Cpu voltage. I noticed I can change the sign to - or + but I’m not sure what that means. I would like to set it up so when my cpu is in a decent load the voltage will throttle up and I heard offset mode is good for that. So I guess I need to set a baseline voltage and a full throttle voltage

+ offset adds voltage to preset core voltage when needed by a degree determined by your BIOS options . That can bork some BIOS-es, maybe better to use LLC (Load Line Calibration), All of that is highly dependent on CPU, MB and it's BIOS/UEFI so you would have to be precise with your system description.
