So the fan of my graphic card (Sapphire radeon r7 260x) is kicking its last, so I want to replace it. The fan it has is an Apistek model:GAA1S2U dc:12V 0.35A -PFTA. I tried searching for this exact product I only found 2 and both being in China and they were both used. As I live in Europe and the shipping is said to be around 2 months I would rather search for a fan which could work instead of these. So I would like to ask for your suggestions to which fan(s) to buy.

Solution
I would suggest you just buy the right fan that way your getting the proper cooling with the Shroud and cooler design.

A 120mm fan is way to big, a 80mm fan like a Noctua NF-R8 redux "1800 RPM, .72W" would compensate a bit for the lack of the shroud but you would have to zip tie the thing to the cooler itself. You will also have to either use a fan header on the motherboard, molex to PWM adapter or a fan controller because the fan plug on the Card is different that what typical case fans use.

Your looking for a 95mm fan with a 40mm screw hole pattern, this is a common version used by Sapphire and Msi.

You will want to use this search criteria.

95mm Video Card Single Fan Replacement 40mm 4Pin 0.40A

The Apistek model:GAA1S2U will work but its on a 37mm pattern and be a little tight on the screws and may need to be modified. The Power Logic PLD10010S12HH is a exact fit.

Not sure your location but this is what your looking at

Lets say, I ziptie a fan to my card. First of all, does it matter which card I use? At my local shop I found Arctic Cooling (Artic 12) 12 cm with only 1350rpm. Will it be enough or I should find a more expensive one. Also how am I suppose to ziptie to hardware? Just simply wrap it over the whole card or am I suppose to tie to the housing?

If there is enough room to widen the holes on a slightly smaller fan, that might be worth doing. Though I have to say, every video card I have ever 'repaired' with a 120mm (or two 80mm fans) was a huge improvement on cooling. Sure it is bulky, but the shrouds on most of these are mostly for appearance sake. Possibly the exception of the ones with the fans sunk into the heatsink.

I've found with a lot of the lower end extruded coolers you can just thread into the fins directly for mounting purposes. With an old 4850X2 I was able to use the original screw holes to mount one corner of each 80mm fan, then I zip-tied the fans together locked at a slight angle. It was actually a very cool looking design. (Straight up Dynex (Best Buy) fans too, it was a quick fix)

Im currently using a gigabyte (970A-DS3P) motherboard which as far as I know has only 1 fan header which I already use on a case fan which was built in, because my case is the best. As for the pwn adapter, can I use it with the previously mentioned motherboard?

Your motherboard has 4 fan headers. One for the CPU, One 4-pin Sys-Fan, and two 3-pin fan headers. Typical 3 or 4 pin fans would work in those ports.

Worst case you can always get a 4-pin molex (large connector) and go directly from the power supply.

A 80mm fan mounting holes are about centerline to the very edge of that cooler, mounting screws will just bend them out since your dealing with really thin material. If you use these I would see it as doable.
