Hey guys,

I wanna buy a new GPU after my R9 270x has died few months ago.
I don't know should i buy ASUS Cerberus GTX 1050 Ti 4GB [90YV0A75-M0NA00] or ROG Strix RX560 4GB [90YV0AH1-M0NA00] and is it overkill to buy any of these GPU's since my monitor's max resolution is 1366x768 ?
Will i get similar performance with med/high settings for newer games with my resolution as it is with some of the lower priced GPU's like ASUS RX550 4GB [90YV0AG4-M0NA00] or GTX 1050 2GB [90YV0AA0-M0NA00] ?

Specs:

CPU: i5 4460 @ 3.2 GHz
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz
PSU: Raidmax 600AF
MOBO: Gigabyte B85-HD3
HDD: 500GB

Solution
Technically speaking, the 1050 should be a more ideal upgrade for you, unless you are changing screen anytime soon. The resolution and refresh rate of your monitor wont let you fully utilize the benefits of a higher card. If you plan to change to a 1080p monitor down the line, then the 1050ti should be a better buy for now.
The 1050ti can give you a few frames more, but the difference is not worth the money you pay,at your current resolution.
since the 1050Ti is better than a 960 (both 4GB) i can play most of my games on my AMD FX8320 on med, at minimum, with max distance for objects, at 1920x1200 so a 1050/RX560 would be good to future proof yourself if you aren't someone who isn't a gotta have a 60fps at max settings.
