PC tower fell and now my games run slower

My tower fell on its side from a vertical position. It wasn't dropped, just fell on it's side. During that time, I was playing a game running at full speed. After the incident, the game I was playing was running clunky and at half it's speed. I looked at similar cases like this on this website and others, but they didn't help. I have opened my case and reinstalled the GPU, RAM, and power supply cables to check if anything got loose from the impact. Nothing changed. I then decided to check my individual parts for their temperatures.

Intel Pentium G3258: 70C (idle)
Nvidia Geforce GT 730: 38C (idle)
Hard Drive: 32C (idle)

I'm pretty sure the problem is my CPU as 70C is really high and reaches 99C whenever I am playing a game. I just want to make sure by letting you smart guys know if there might be any other problems I should be on the lookout for.

The cpu cooler may have moved, you need to take it off, removed the old thermal paste and apply fresh.

You may also have damaged your HDD, the heads may have crashed into the platers as you were using it when the fall occurred, possibly gouging out chunks of the surface.

Aomei Partition Assistant is a free HDD/SSD/Flash memory suite that will do a much better job that the OS built in checker.

If it finds errors, you will need to check your drive regularly to see if more errors occur. If they do, you will need to replace the HDD.

What happens when the heads crash, is that bits of the surface are gouged out, but a HDD is sealed, so the bits crash around inside the casing; occasionally, they will get stuck under a read head and do further damage.

This causes more chunks to be flying about and so the damage occurs more often, etc, etc. This eventually leads to a cascade failure, where the drive surface gets damaged at an exponential rate, going from a few percent of damaged sectors to the entire disk being trashed in only a few days or weeks.

So I decided to check my HDD before removing my CPU Fan. I used the program you mentioned and checked it for errors and here is what came up:
Checking (C:), please wait a few seconds or minutes...
-------------------------------------------------------------

CHKDSK is verifying files (stage 1 of 3)...
650752 file records processed.

File verification completed.
5415 large file records processed.

0 bad file records processed.

0 EA records processed.

69 reparse records processed.

CHKDSK is verifying indexes (stage 2 of 3)...
Index entry Network Persistent State in index $I30 of file 23291 is incorrect.
Index entry NETWOR~3 in index $I30 of file 23291 is incorrect.
Index entry Local State in index $I30 of file 59016 is incorrect.
Index entry LOCALS~1 in index $I30 of file 59016 is incorrect.
856994 index entries processed.

Index verification completed.

Errors found. CHKDSK cannot continue in read-only mode.

Chkdsk has completed, but some errors were found in the partition.
You could use AOMEI Partition Assistant to fix it.
So I'm going to fix these issues with the software and check if there are anymore tomorrow, right? And should I reinstall my CPU fan during the checking process of the HDD or no?

Alright I'll try that now. I also reinstalled my CPU and now the temperatures are in the 40C range. Hopefully the surface scan will show nothing is wrong with my HDD.
