No I don't believe so. 8GB sticks were the max for that time. DDR3 is an old technology by now.
Why do you need 16GB DIMMs?
my m/b only has 2 dimm slots, but manufacture say that it will support up to 32 gigs. i was thinking on upgrading it to the max.i play games that require 8 gig min. so if my rig start an update in the background some time it make s the game lag.
but from what i am finding out i think i need to just upgrade to a 4 dimm board that will support (4 x8g) module. so i have plenty of of ram to run whatever.
