I have contacted from another same bsnl network provider.they are asking only phone number.to check sim is active or not.

Not finded my number sir.can u tell me app or manifest xml to find my own number.I have not connected to network.phone was showing not registered on network .sim was not used 5 yeare. Still now in notification bar signal strength is showing.emergency calls only.

In the settings area, like suggested in those google results, you can get all of that info. Have you tried that?
