Hello this is my first time here :)
Sorry I didn't know which category I should choose...
I downloaded a new game to my PC (Realm Royale) and I have a problem for a couple of days.
It goes like that
I'm playing the game of a couple of hours
and then my fps starts dropping slowly...
then my Spotify music starts like hmm Pausing and Playing once again which is wierd
People on Discord can't hear me and I can't hear them
My Fps drops down to the 10's and 20's and then Freezes on 1 frame...
Going back to deskop and the whole PC freezes, wallpaper disappeares and a Black screen as a "Wallpaper" pops up and all I can do is press the Restart button on my PC :/

*Checked the temperature and it's all fine, GPU no more then 70 and CPU no more then 60 or 55
not Overclocked
Drivers are Up to date

Specs : Ryzen 5 1600
GTX 1060
8ram Crucial
550eco antec power supply

Edit : It happens only when playing Realm Royale O.O

It sounds like the game has (or is causing), a memory leak; they can be really difficult to track down, as the OS doent always assign blame to the correct program.

First thing to try, remove anything using the USB system that you dont need for the game.

Why? Because there have been issues with drivers for XBox controllers causing memory leaks in specific games.

Next, shut down as many background tasks as you can safely close, MSOffice, updater programs, WinUpdate, Win index, email, network monitors; everything execpt those needed to get on line and play the game (Anti virus and firewall are optional, I would leave them the first time, but disable if the game still crashed).

Then play the game and see if it still happens.

XBox360 controller plugged in while playing LOTRO also causes a memory leak, and again ONLY in LOTRO, no other game that I know of.
