Hello fellow PC enthusiasts. I am going to be installing either the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW hybrid or if prices are reasonable, the 1080ti version of that on my PC this summer , and am looking to replace my 32" 1080p TV as the display device. Seeing as size matters with me, and I will accept no smaller than 30" I am torn between 3 different monitors two of them are 1440p with one of them supporting gsync the other one has freesync and is curved. The third Monitor is a 2160p monitor but is 60hz. I would like to join the 4k revolution, but am not sure if 4k is going to work with my setup.

What I care about:
1)I want at least an avg of 40fps, I don't mind turning a few settings down, but would really like it to "make me happy I am wearing white pants" (Deadpool 2 reference if your not getting it)

2) as mentioned before size matters, so no smaller than 30" in size is required.

3) pc gaming and possible xbox gaming if I feel the xbox version is better optimized, as well as watching blu ray movies. If none of these devices would work with an xbox than no big deal as I can keep the TV if necessary.

I do not do anything like cs go or any kind of fps/pvp, so I feel like going resolution over refresh rate will satisfy my needs and I always wait a year before upgrading a gpu, so I will not be interested in the 1100 or whatever Nvidia decides to call it. If it is any help the monitors I am looking at are:

please disregard price tag as I may or may not have help that would allow me to buy them from the states. As always any help is appreciated and thanks for your time

I'd take the LG out of the 3, 1440P/144hz/Gsync would be perfect for either the 1080 or 1080 ti. I have the EVGA 1080 ti Hybrid and absolutely love it, it games well up to 4K/60hz on high/ultra settings (Nvidia GPU boost + increased power limit put the boost clock at 1967mhz).

Hi thank you for your reply. The Lg monitors are the 4k and g sync monitors, sorry if I confused you or am confused. The Samsung monitor is curved but it uses free-sync instead of g-sync. I think I get the gist of what you are saying though, and maybe I will save up a little longer for the 1080ti and go 4k.
