Not sure what PSU and graphics card to buy for my Gateway LX6810-01

I have a Gateway LX6810-01 that randomly freezes and shuts off and it's driving me nuts. I want to start with replacing the power source but this stuff is out of my league. The pc is completely stock, with nothing replaced or done to it so there's no need for calculating for extra stuff-- except maybe for a new graphics card. Nothing super fancy though, I'm just a casual gamer and media creator and I don't need something extremely powerful. That in mind, which power source and graphics card will work with my pc? (I'd like one a little over 400w by the way, can't hurt right?)

If you need additional info let me know

if it is overheating, how do you fix that?
and repairing this one will cost far less than building an entirely new computer so not gonna happen.

If its cpu over heat , reinstall cooler and paste.
Or get a new cooler that supports you cuurent and future rig, lga 775 and lga 115x and am4

If the capacitors or other thing is too hot....
It will blow anytime. Stop using it
