Jay32267's pretty much right though.
That setup isn't terrible, but it isn't great either. For the next 2 years, it's OK, then you can get something more worthwhile if you save up.
You've got an ok cpu,
8gb of ram has become the minimum for gaming now,
and 1050ti is a budget gaming gpu
= playing low/med settings on games

TL;DR: No, it's not.

I get that you're working with a low budget, but considering old, dated parts is only going to cost you more in the long run - no longer supported, and you'll be looking to upgrade again in a year or two. Save up for something newer, like:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel - Pentium Gold G5400 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor ($66.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI - H310-A PRO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($69.99 @ B&H)
Memory: GeIL - EVO POTENZA 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($77.99 @ Newegg Business)
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 3GB SC GAMING Video Card ($229.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $444.96
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

With that, you have the option to later upgrade to an I5 or I7, and be good for a few more years. It'll be cheaper overall. You also don't have to get the graphics card right away(if money is still an issue), but performance will suffer until then.

You want to avoid being one of those people that bought and built an AMD FX setup because it was so cheap.
