Last Light Redux stutters

My game stutters non-stop. The frame rate is 220fps or higher. It is very bothersome. No other game does this for me. Also happens with Physx off. I am using a Creative G5 external USB sound card. On board audio is disabled in BIOS.

Specs:
Ryzen 5 1600x @ stock
16gb RAM @ 2933mhz
EVGA 1080 SC
Dell 144hz 1440p G-sync

Did you try disabling Gsync? Or enabling it.

Or if you're not sure it's enabled/disabled go to 3D settings in nvidia panel and go to program settings, select the specific game and change the settings.

Stock means that the CPU will push the one thread the game depends on much more while laxing the rest of the cores the other threads of the game run on.

It's the same issue FX and many multi cored intels had, lock the clockspeed of all cores to the same clock.

I've tried the above suggestions. Did not fix the issue. It is only this game giving me issues. Looks like all I have left to do is a reinstall.

I figured this out the other day. I had SSMA .5 selected in the graphics settings. I turned it of and it plays great.
