I am a heavy modder of Minecraft. Currently, I am giving it 1 GiB of ram, but it hits 100% used very often, and I find the rest of the system essentially unusable(I have 4GB of ram)after quitting.
How much should I give to Minecraft for it to use the 4GB I have well?
