I was wondering if GIGABYTE GA AB350M GAMING 3 (https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/GA-AB350M-Gaming-3-rev-1x#kf) and a Ryzen 5 2600 will be compatible with Ballistix Sport LT White 8GB DDR4-2400 UDIMM BLS8G4D240FSC?

I don't trust their "see if that part is compatible" because I tried with non compatible mobo's and cpu's and it said it is compatible, so i wanted to hear some experts and experienced AMD users / RAM expertises

Thanks a lot for helping a newbie

With ryzen you want the fastest ram there is and either a 2x or 4x kit so they can run in dual channel.
If you can get faster ram. But the ones you listed should work fine.

AMD Ryzen 2000 Series CPUs have improved DDR4 memory support over earlier Ryzen models.

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 specifications
Supported memory: DDR4-2933

The new Ryzens have increased baseline memory compatibility to DDR-2933 with the Pinnacle Ridge platform. Not to say 2400MHz memory won't be compatible, just that it will give slower performance. Higher than 2933MHz memory speeds can be used when overclocking.

Memory is guaranteed in the form sold. Buy memory that is in a single kit. Combining modules purchased as Singles have no guarantee to be compatible together.
