I have just spent an hour taking out the fan, heatsink cpu and replacing with a better one putting it all back together and now when I go to 'NVIDIA Control Pannel' it says no graphics card displayed / cant detect any nvidia gpu

Any way I could maybe fix this?

Solution
You can see control panel so this means Windows runs fine right? I'd uninstall the Nvidia software including drivers, then reinstall them using the 'clean installation' option.

I5 750 new, upgraded from 650

GPU at the moment is 1050 but I have a 1060 sitting here was seeing if the cpu would work first before putting it in.
