So I'm knowledgeable to an extent when it comes to putting in a system..i recently put my old subs and amp In my new car..i kept the factory stereo instead of installing my Kenwood..i tapped into the back speaker wires with a RCA converter..hooked my power, ground and remote up, and then turned everything on..worked good for about 4 days but all of the sudden at A high volume the subs went off although the amp did not go in to protection mode..but the subs donr turn on unless i turn the volume up but go off when its too high..im a little confused at what's going on.
