4GB DDR4 of RAM Causing FPS Drops in Fortnite: BR ?

Hello
my specs are :

64 bit win10
Intel i7-8550u @ 1.8GHZ
AMD RADEON 530 4gb
4gb ddr4 ram
1 TB HHD

Fotnite works so well on the PS4 but i want cross play and to build quicker.
My internet is not the problem because on the ps4 it works fantastically with no lag. But with my Laptop it doesn't.
I can still return the laptop as it's been less than two weeks since i bought it and then i can get a better one. I know a pc will be better however I need the mobility of the laptop for University but also like games.

Well, that 530 is a horrible card for trying to game on(even an entry level gtx 1050 significantly out performs that card).
What does 'Task Manager' show the CPU/GPU/Mem/HD usage as when you're playing?

Upgrading your memory would help a little... is there a Thunderbolt 3 port? If so, you could use an eGPU. That laptop is not meant for gaming with though.

I recommend you return it as 4gb of ram will give you issues in fortnite and basically any modern game and that is no gaming laptop. You can get a perfectly capable and still mobile laptop for about 700$.
