Monitor does not display Bios

So I have been trying to format my hard drive for about a week now and whenever I restart and try to enter the bios my monitor displays ''signal lost'' error,I have tried with several hdmi wires and two different monitors but nothing really changes.Looking through forums I found someone suggesting to check the bios line through msinfo32 and make sure that it is set to UEFI but mine is set to Legacy,any ideas?

Are you using a GPU for your display?
If so, try using the integrated graphics to access the BIOS (if your CPU supports integrated graphics)

Also try resetting the CMOS.
You can do this by removing the CMOS battery from the motherboard, attempting to power on the PC, then putting the CMOS battery back in.
