GTX 1060 3gb vs GTX 1060 6gb

I am going to buy a gtx 1060 this weekend there is a 70 dollar difference on amazon between the 3 and 6 gig cards. is 70 dollars more worth it for the 6 gig or should i save money and get the 3 gig

Depending on if you want to play AAA titles or not, you'll want to stick with 1080P and as said above, use non ultra textures so you don't run into a memory bottleneck.

If you play AAA titles a lot, yeah definitely get the 6GB variant if at all possible (or if you can find a 4GB or 8GB 480/580 that is also an option).

If you are going to use ultra high resolution textures, you might want to get the 6 gig version.
I would say it's worth it
However, if you are okay with medium textures, you'll do just fine. Also, both support VR, so you're not missing out on much.
