Cloth vs Hard mouse pad

I'm currently using a Logitech G502 which has an optical sensor and I often play CS:GO with 400 dpi and low sensitivity so I'm debating whether I should get a cloth or a hard pad for my mouse. Any help?

Its mostly up to personal preference, the hard top is going to be more "slick", whereas a soft is going to cause some more drag. I went from a hard top to soft and like it more, mostly because it puts more weight behind my movements. It really was a small change though.
