I have an Corsair VS650 650W PSU but i am afraid that it will fry my gtx 1070 because its a low quality psu.

I wonder if this is a PSU i should buy: Seasonic Focus+ 650W 80+ GOLD PSU

Seasonic Focus is a whole world of difference ahead of Corsair VS in terms of quality. That does not necessarily mean that you cannot run it with 1070 - it also depends on the rest of your components, whether you overclock or not, how long you run the rig each day and at what loads and temperatures, how old the PSU is and whether your current PSU has any inherent weaknesses from the factory which might come apparent once you stress it.

So, as you can see, it is quite impossible to tell precisely if it will fry your GPU or not.

That's why most people opt to reduce the risk to a minimum and buy a quality PSU. And that's the best you can do.

It has a i5 6600k proseccor and the Corsair PSU is new(never used) and im not planning to overclock anything. I will play maybe 3-5 hours a day every second week:) What if i upgrade to an seasonic or EVGA PSU in the near future?

I would send the VS back and get another better quality PSU.

Not worth the risk.
