Hello! I have had this problem for awhile.
My Palit GTX 1060 3GB and an i7-7700 are stuttering mostly in Battlefield 1 and many other titles like GTA 5, CSGO (Mostly FPS isn't like it used to).

Solution

That's because after re-starting you've flushed the system ram/vram!

Okay, my final post. I think it's your ram, and lack thereof. Everything you've described is what happens when your ram fills up and uses the swap file. Specially, with BF1 and because it happens after approx 2 hours and in general terms when gaming.

You could check this, when the game starts stuttering, check HWMon, or windows tool, and see if your disk usage goes up at the same time. If it...
how much ram do you have? BF1 pushes over 9gb usage on 1080p. If you only have 8 gbs your system will start using the swap file on the HDD as the ram is fully loaded. This can cause exactly the problems you are having.

Also, vram usage at 1080p is pushing your 3gb 1060 right to the limit too, this can also cause similar FPS drops. Try dialing back in game settings and see if the stuttering stops.

The GPU Temps Are about 70-75 and the CPU temps is about 50-60

Your temps are fine. For both GPU/CPU. Exactly where they should be to be honest.

List your other specs, but specifically the ram, and amount of ram. Like i said above unless you have 16gb, specially with BF1 you will have some issues. I'm happy to post a screen shot where you can see both system ram/vram usage at 1080p. (And tell us your monitor res too!)

Im Thinking it has something to do whit my CPU because while in-game I can tell by the game graph that the CPU is lagging and whenever it is lagging I can see my fps droping. Also my RAM usage is About 70-95%, VRAM Usage according to Task Manager is 2.5/3 Mostly. But still my PC used to Work so well back in November to February it grinded games easily, but now...

Run an instance of HWmon, run a game along side it. When the game is running, alt-tab out of it and take a screenshot of Hwmon, showing all tabs for GPU/CPU, including clocks, powers, temps etc. Then post the screenshot here. We can see what else is going on.

Yeah, your ram usage is high. Keep in mind also, some system ram is reserved for hardware, so you don't have a full allocation of 8gb of ram.

For that game though, 8gb is tight. Dialing back settings may reduce both ram/vram usage, and prevent FPS drops.

If you can also include the graph showing the frame spikes, that would be helpful.

Also, when your playing BF1 are we talking single player or multi? Is it only that game or all games?

I Also have a 1TB HDD, I play multiplayer and I have seen this happen whit GTA V. When I play GTA V for about 2 hours, I get these weird lag spikes, but that is fixed by a simple restart. Thanks for replying I will be posting the screenshots when I get to my computer.

If you are getting more ram, don't just buy another stick. Get a matched kit 2 x 8 to rule out compatibility issues. Then sell your current 8gb stick to offset the cost.

8gb used to be perfect for gaming. 16gb is now the sweet spot, specially for AAA gaming.

Anyway, good luck with your system, and hope it works out for you :)
