hello there, now i have windows 7 x86 installed on my hp g62 laptop, my cpu is Intel i3 M M370, but when i went to see my CPU's information on Intel's page. i saw that my cpu supports Intel64, but i always thought that my cpu is x86 and not x64. windows is running fine and i have no problems, so what should i do? should i install Windows 64 bit or what?

If your CPU was sold in the last 10 years, it is 64bit capable.

Install a 64bit OS.

Hi

It depends on how much ram you have whether it is worth changing to a 64 bit version of Windows
If only 2GB or 3GB of RAM it is not worth changing to 64 bit

if 4GB or more it probably is worth changing but if you have a HP OEM Windows 7 you probably wont be able to download Win 7 X64 from Microsoft as they only make a free download available to people with a Retail windows key

maybe someone can recommend where to legally & safely down load Windows 7 x64 which will work with a HP OEM windows key or get a HP OEM 64 bit version
