The MSI Gaming App is probably only looking at your motherboard, which, as it indicates, is not a supported model (you need a "Z" series motherboard to overclock the CPU, which must be an unlocked "K" series chip). For graphics card overclocking, MSI's Afterburner, as described, is what you want to use. NVidia's current generation has its boost mode, and may also already have a factory overclock, so getting much more is rather unlikely, especially without adding voltage, although you may get a little. IMHO, adding voltage is a high-risk proposition that adds a lot of heat, and at some point can damage or destroy the card. If it takes another +.05V to reach stability at particular clocks, that's one thing, but personally I would not go higher. The "silicon lottery" plays a role here too; just because a dozen other people reach a certain frequency does not mean you will.
