Hi,

I currently have a Cooler master Hydro Series H100 Extreme cooling my i5-3570k and will be upgrading my pc soon which will be powered by the 8600k series processor.

My question is would I be able to swap the cooler from my old build to this build and save some money?

Thanks.

I'm personally not sure where I'd get the information from for the mounting brackets.

The PC was originally bought from a company who builds them six years ago. The reason I'm upgrading is because of issues I've had with it. The company who built it suggested RAM, but no tests or torubleshooting could confirm it, a few months later my GPU fried and was replaced under warranty with the PSU.

I keep getting issues which disappears with new installations of Windows, but they get replaced with new ones. Crashing, inability to update and getting some bizzare issues where I couldnt even open my display setting to change my resolution.

Blue screens on the initial start up, waking from sleep which would then reset all my applications installed which would require log in or license keys

Another thing, from time to time the bios does fail to load which would leade to believe it's the motherboard?

I don't know, but the point with this upgrade now would be to save money wherever I can without compromising performance. Would anyone be able to give some advice on where to find out information on if the mounting brackets are the same?
