soo i m getting gtx 1070 for about 100$ more from the gtx 1060 will the mini size be any worried factor ? i do not overclock.... i do sometimes... but not extreme oc.... will mini versions throttle ? i play with vsync on at 60fps. 1080p

Solution
when you say throttle, do you mean get very hot because it's a single fan solution!? Well yes, the mini's get hot. But the fan will do the trick and keep it within parameters. If OC'ing though you'll really wanna watch the temps, or it may throttle or have artifacts or game crashes.

If you are playing at 1080p 60hz, the GTX1060 6gb is a perfect fit. For nearly every game out there it will hit ultra settings with steady 60+ FPS.

What are you other system specs? If for example you had 8gb of ram, i'd get the 1060 and get some more ram.

The GTX1070 is about 10-20% better FPS than the 1060. Game dependent of course.

i do have 8gb of ram and i will get a i7 3700. as my mobo is 3rd gen .. the thing is i wont be upgrading anymore for atleast 5 years ? isnt it safe to get gtx 1070 ?? as it has more vram and faster + future proof ?

edit : i will always play 1080p.. in future too.. till i get a job lmao xd

Do you mean I7 3770? It's still a capable CPU. I don't think it will last 5 years though. You may still get decent FPS for another 2 years, but then after that game requirements will be looking at your CPU as the min!

At 3.9ghz turbo, there won't be much of a bottleneck at all. Maybe a small bit with the GTX1070, but more balanced with the 1060.

The 1070 should get more FPS, approx up to 20% more than than the 1060, game dependant
