I am thinking to but an i5 8400 cpu.
need your advise to which parts are best to buy and if you think i should something else like the ram maybe .
my main uses for this pc are gaming.

Solution
No no. Intel 8400 with the B360 is fine. But the next gen Intel in the same b360 is not guaranteed.

Butte the B450 which is gonna come out soon will support next gen AMD ryzen chips.

The 1060 maxes out at 80-90fps in the latest titles. So 144hz is out of the question with it. But you are good with a 60/75hz monitor.

Both the 8400 and 2600X can push upto 110fps in the latest titles. The 8400 turbo is 4ghz vs 2600X 4.25ghz. Plus can say that the next gen Intel cpu would be supported in that b360. Ryzen next gen is good to go with the same mobo and gives you overclocking.

so if i understand you correctly , u say that if iam going for the i5 8400 i should buy the b360 mobo and the next gen intel cpus would be supported in it.
and if i am going for the 2600x i should wait for the b450 board to come out?
