What is Disk 0? What is its use?

So I bought a lenovo ideapad 320 with 1 TB HDD. But when I tried checking the total storage of my laptop, according to different sources, the space in Disk C is the total HDD size. The problem is my Disk C size is only near to 100 GB. But when I went to the disk management inside the storage tab in computer management, I saw that Disk 0 is 931.51 GB which is near to 1 TB.

So my question is if all the games, movies, softwares I download goes to either disk C, D, or E what is the use of Disk 0? what gets stored in disk 0 space? If I run out of space in Disk C (which is only 100 gb), how can I use the space from Dusk 0? I am extremely clueless about what disk 0 is.

I am not good with these things. So please explain it in an easy to understand way.

Thank you so much. This really helped me understand quite a lot I think.
If I run out of space in Disk C,how can I use the 931.51 GB in disk 0? Everything inside the laptop is saved in the disk C or E or F. How is my 1 TB hdd in disk 0 used?

Now thanks to you I get that 1 Tb is further split in disk C, E, and F. But besides the space in those 3 drives, where is the rest of the space? I mean how can I use the rest of the space that is still available in disk 0 after being split into those 3 drives. From my knowledge, if disk C is full, no more software or files can be downloaded /stored in the computer. But if my hdd is 1 tb it means I still have space left even if all of the 100 Gb in disk C is used up. So how can I have access to that remaining space?

There is no "extra free space"
Those partitions take the whole thing.

Your 100GB C partition - OS and applications.
Save other things on the other 2 partitions, the E and F.
Movies, for instance. Music.
Your applications don't care what drive or partition those are on.

Steam games are easy to designate on a different drive or partition.
Thusly:

Thank you :)
Now I get it the total of Disk C (100gb), Disk E (415 gb), and Disk F (415gb) makes the total of the 1 tb hdd of my laptop. I don't think I'll have to increase the space of disk C now that I know I have almost 1 tb of total space. Thank you once again

Thank you so much for such a detailed response. There is no extra space, I get it now. I was actually doing the wrong calculations. Disk E and have 415 GB each but I sort of mistook the GB for MB and somehow I came to the conclusion that disk C has 100 Gb disk E and F together don't even have 100 GB ( I added 415 +415 and converted the result into gb). This made me think that I barely had 200 Gb in disk C, E and F which meant that I still had 1 Tb minus 200 gb space left. That's why I was convinced that I still had extra space in disk 0. So most of the confusion was because I miscalculated.

But thanks a lot for your patience and very thorough and helpful reply. I had no idea what disk 0 and partitions meant before you explained it. Thank you :) :)
