Hi!

I have a brand new Ryzen 5 2600 build and I'm using a dual-PC setup. My internet speed is consistent and very rarely slows from the below speeds.

Generally speaking, what quality and fps could I expect to stream?

Location: Victoria, Australia.
Download: 20mbps
Upload: 4.3mbps

Thank you!

Generally speaking, what quality/fps can I expect to be able to stream to Twitch?

"Dual PC setup"? Not sure what you mean by that.

The CPU is good, I hope you have enough ram. Your download speed is fine, but I worry about your upload speed. It's sub 5Mbps, so you'll probably need to lower your stream settings so you can get a good upload rate. I'm not a streamer however so I could be wrong.

Putting my mod hat on, please don't open more than one thread per problem. You posted this twice, 3min apart. It's literally the same post. Just stick with this one ok?

The CPU is great for Gaming/Streaming with high quality settings. You can have a look at Tom's own article and extrapolate the extra performance Ryzen 2 will give.: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/game-streaming-encoding-coffee-lake-ryzen,5326-3.html

Ryzen is perfect for Gaming/Streaming. The more cores/threads with Ryzen than the I5 Coffee Lake, give better quality stream settings whilst maintaining high FPS with no FPS drops. For pure FPS the Coffee Lake CPU's will win out. Factor in anything else and your Ryzen 2600 shines.

Completely agree with 4745454b on the Internet connection. The upload speed will really hold you back, and will impact stream settings. Not so muh the down speed. 20mb/4mb is average connection. I've a 100mb down/20mb up, and sometimes I have glitches on the vids. But with that said the streams are high quality, and as 4745454b said, it will affect you. If i dropped the quality a little, the vids would be glitch free.

Do you think I could reach a 720p/30fps quality stream?

Yes, I would think you would. At least. You'll prob still be able to game at 1080p but lower in-game settings and stream quality to balance out. You'll need to try it out to determine the exact settings, as only you can decide whats good output for the vids, and at what level FPS you want to game at. Obviously while streaming your not hitting full FPS on the GPU. Try the default settings or levels (depending on what app you are using to stream like Twitch etc) Try the presets and see how you get on. If your not happy you can set it up manually and try various options until you are happy.
