PC Build Help Please

This will be my 2nd PC Build. This build will be for a work computer. I'm a web developer. It will run Ubuntu. I'll be running Docker, a JetBrains IDE, possibly some graphics software, and other things developers use.

I will have 2 monitors. One is 2560 x 1440 and the other is 1920 x 1080.

I have parts picked out. I would like help double-checking to make sure everything is compatible. I am also not sure what kind of graphics card to buy as this isn't a gaming PC. I can't spend anymore than I currently have on this build, and I would like to decrease the cost by about $40 or more if possible. I also don't want the graphics card to bottle-neck the whole computer.

I would like to purchase everything through Amazon, but I'm okay with Newegg or considering other places too.

I plan to install Ubuntu via USB, so I don't think I'll need a disk drive.

I've been told some CPU fans are hard to install. I would like something that isn't too hard to install. This CPU doesn't come with a fan correct? This would be the only reason for me to buy one.

I greatly appreciate any help. Thank you! My planned build is in the attached screenshot.

Feel free to suggest changes. Thanks again!

The build looks good. Except for your heatsink. The 8700 does come with a heatsink, but some say that it isn't sufficient cooling if the PC is running full tilt rendering videos or something similar. The one you've selected doesn't seem to be the right one and would barely be better than the stock Intel one if it did fit. Why not go with something like a Hyper 212 Evo? They aren't much more and a proven coolers that work well. You are going to want one that mounts on a Socket 1151, where as the one you picked mounts on 1156, which despite being a higher number, is a much older socket.

Hope that helps.
