even if your PC does boot you should also lookup the specs of your motherboard to see if it is officially supported.

CPU-upgrade doesn't show any new BIOS updates either, so I think why_wolf is right that they just stopped supporting it. They have an update on their website about a new BIOS they are releasing, but they don't even say which series will be supported, there are no links to download it, and there are no dates on the post. Seems like a super sketchy company to me.

The bios would need an update to support the ivy brige processors, but they don't support the motherboard any more and by the looks of it have pulled all support/drivers required to update. I would have a look for an i5 2400 if you can source one. As why_wolf said they have pulled the support.
