Hello everyone!
I am planning to add an MSI 1070 ARMOR OC to my setup, and was wondering if my EVGA 650 G2 would be able to supply enough power.
My current setup is as follows:
CPU: i7-2700k
RAM: 4x4GB DDR3-1600 Corsair Vengeance
MB: GA-Z77-D3H (1.1)
GPU: Gigabyte G1 RX470 (I am planning on adding the 1070 to this, not replacing it)
Storage: Two SATA SSDs, and two 7.2k RPM SATA harddrives
Non-core components:
-a DVD drive
-a few case fans
-a few USB 3.0/2.0 devices
Whenever I run stress tests on my current system (without the 1070), it usually peaks around 400 watts from the wall (read using a killawatt). The MSI website for the card claims that it would pull about 150W.
I think I have enough headroom in my PSU limit, but I want to be sure.
Any input is greatly appreciated!
