ok, I bought a GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1050, looks awesome, I plug it into my machine multiple times and get the following..
"Please power down and connect the PCIe power cable(s) for this graphics card". I googled and got some opinions and most say I don't need additional power, my slot should cover it. I have a Kingwin 650W PSU. Can you help me ?

Some GTX 1050 don't have a PCI-e power connector, but if yours has it is for a good reason.
Not all GTX 1050 draw the power required through PCI-e slot, or they draw more power than the PCI-e slot could deliver. (66W) In that case manufacturers include a power connector instead. And that's why the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1050 includes it.
