Hey guys Im planning to build my gaming pc and I saw someone in the youtube named Scattervolt who built a gaming pc for his little brother and the system he built was:
R5 1400 and a used 980

Here in my country I found a 980ti instead of 980 and Im planning to do the same build like he did. Is there gonna some bottlenecks?

The total price in my country was 765$ and the 980ti was Brand New.

First, you will definitely want to get dual-channel RAM.

The Ryzen 1500X is a tad slow and might limit the GTX 980 Ti in some areas of some games, but not terribly so.

I would typically recommend a 650W power supply for a GTX 980 Ti system, it draws more power than a GTX 1080 Ti.

Maybe I'll just get a 1060 6gb, The 980ti that I have found for a cheap price has been used for mining so thats a bad deal I think, do you guys think a r5 1400 and Gtx 1060 will be a great pair? I didnt want to use all the ram slots mobo because I will put another 8gb in the future, I watched some benchmarks on Youtube about the r5 1400 and gtx 1060, some games are using 8gb+ memory so I will plan to buy soon but if you guys dont think that games on ultra setting will not use a lot of memory, then I will go for a dual channel. Im mainly playing league of legends, dota 2 and paladins, I will also buy the Witcher 3 and a lot of other games like gta v.
